Delete your account
You can request permanent deletion of your BikeShare India account and the personal data associated with it. You do not need to be signed in to make this request.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, email address, mobile number and profile photo.
- KYC and verification documents such as Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence, RC, insurance and PUC uploads.
- Your bike listings, photos and pickup addresses (for owners).
- Saved locations, search history, wallet balance, coupons and referral records.
- Support conversations, chat messages and push notification tokens.
- Your login credentials and authentication records.
All of the above is permanently deleted within 7 days of your verified request.
What we must retain
Some records cannot be deleted because Indian law requires us to keep them. We retain these separately from your account, for the minimum period required, and never use them for marketing:
- Payment, invoice and tax records (retained as required under Indian tax and accounting law).
- Trip and booking records needed for insurance claims, traffic challans or legal disputes.
- Records required to prevent fraud or to comply with a lawful order from an authority.
Before you request deletion
- Complete or cancel any ongoing bookings.
- Withdraw any remaining wallet or earnings balance — unused balance is forfeited on deletion.
- We may contact you on the email or number you provide to verify the request.
